We congratulate Dr. Wollfy Krašić, genealogist at our branch in Zagreb (Croatia), on the publication of his book “Hrvatsko proljeće i hrvatska politička emigracija” (Croatian Spring and Croatian Political Emigration).

This work examines the previously insufficiently discussed relationship between Croatian political emigration and the “Croatian Spring” in socialist Yugoslavia. The book also addresses the complex problems within the diverse and scattered Croatian emigrant organizations.

Furthermore, it examines the relationship between the individual protagonists during the political turmoil of the reform period in the late 1960s, including the perception of their significance among Croats far from their homeland.
